Dr. Chornet-Roses (
Communication) participated in the roundtable discussion, “Ways Forward: Pedagogy and Curriculum,” at the
Ethnography of Communication conference held at Creighton University (Omaha, Nebraska), from June 10-14. His paper challenged the current use of quantitative methods to measure student learning and proposed an alternative model. Dr. Chornet-Roses, passionate about his field—and his students’ learning—also serves on the Madrid Campus assessment committee.
