Building New Programs

SLU Madrid hosted representatives from Saint Louis University’s School of Public Health (SPH) and School of Professional Studies (SPS) during the week of June 11-18. Elizabeth Schwaab (Master of Public Health Program Coordinator) met with Madrid’s health and social sciences faculty to expand opportunities for students interested in the field of Public Health. LaShone Gibson (Associate Dean of Global Relations) and Tanya Griffin (Director of Enrollment Services) discussed with Dean Vita and other Madrid Campus faculty administrators about developing online programs for “busy adults” in Madrid and Europe. They also met with the senior administrators and faculty of the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia, Spain’s national distance education providers.
