Some 30 graduate students from 9 countries gathered at the Madrid Campus Friday and Saturday May 18th and 19th to celebrate the 10th Annual International Graduate Student Conference, “Multiplicities: Mapping Identity Through Literature.”

The conference opened with the keynote address by Ranen Omer-Sherman, Professor of English and Jewish Studies at the University of Miami, entitled “Jewish/Muslim Interpretations and Interdependencies.” During the two days of the conference, vibrant and diverse scholarly papers were presented.
