Spring showers usually bring May flowers, but this year the spring showers brought us a visit from alumna, Anne Rousch (Lane)." She graduated in 1953 from Saint Louis University, Missouri, dedicated her life to nursing and retired 20 years ago. She decided to attend SLU Missouri Campus after being deeply impressed by Jesuits speakers in the Summer School of Catholic Action in Chicago, prior to her junior year in high school. Anne contacted us in February with this message "I have read some articles about your institution in past issues of St. Louis U's magazine, Universitas.  It pleases me that my Alma Mater helped establish this American Jesuit University in Spain, the land of St. Ignatius and St. Francis.  I would not want to pass up this opportunity to drop by for a short visit".

We were very pleased to have her on our Madrid Campus and very much appreciate her donation for one of our religious causes.
