Dr. Anne McCabe, Professor of Linguistics, presented "Development of participant identification and tracking in Spanish learner discourse in CLIL context" at the European Systemic Functional Linguistic Workshop and Conference, Cardiff University, July 8-10, 2009. The paper, co-authored with Rachel Whittaker and Ana Llinares (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid), presents analysis of results from the Universidad de Autónoma-based project on content and language integrated-learning within the bilingual schools program in the Comunidad de Madrid.
