PEPA SANZ
Flamenco Dance

Pepa Sanz made her debut at the age of fifteen with the Mariemma Ballet de España.  From 1990 to 1997 she performed as a soloist in all productions of the Ballet Español de Maria Rosa, performing the choreographies of Antonio Ruiz Soler, Antonio Alonso, Pedro Azorín, Juanjo Linares, Betty and Cristina Hernando.

She has worked with choreographers Alberto Lorca and Rosa Amor, as well as with the Ballet de Antonio Reyes and Compañía Carmen Cortés, among others.

Her role as a choreographer started in 1996 when she presented her own work at the Palau de la Música de Valencia.  Since that time, she has performed throughout Europe and Japan.

She has been a member of Malucos Danza since its inception in 1998, collaborating as a dancer and choreographer in projects that seek to create a unique and new Spanish style of cross-arts dance.

Ms. Sanz is currently an instructor of flamenco dance at Saint Louis University, Madrid Campus.
