Alexis Delgado began his formal study of piano with Carmen Rosa Capote and Toni Millán in 1987, and later with with Ramón Coll in the Conservatorio del Liceo de Barcelona. In 1995 he was awarded a scholarship to study under Andrew Ball and Graham Johnson at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama (GSMD) in London. In 2000 he graduated and then later won the Crompton Bach Prize for his interpretation of Bach's Goldberg Variations. He was subsequently selected by Guildhall to present the same work in a master class with Murray Perahia.

In 2003-2004 Mr. Delgado worked at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama as a collaborative pianist. During that time, he participated in the Internationales Musik Festival, Davos (Suiza, 2002), the Felicija Blumenthal International Music Festival (Tel Aviv, 2003), the Festival Internacional de Piano de Lucena (Córdoba, 2004), and received a prize for his performance in the Maisie Lewis Award Competition in London. In 2003, he debuted with soprano Anouschka Lara in the prestigious Wigmore Hall in London and in 2004 offered a recital with the soprano Sussana Anderson in the same hall.

He has recorded for Spanish National Radio and Television, Swiss National Radio and is a founding member of the musical group, Zona de Tránsito. He is currently on the vocal accompaniment faculty of the Escuela Superior de Canto de Madrid.
