If you are in the process of renewing your Tarjeta de Estudiante and will be leaving the Schengen area for the Christmas Break, you MUST OBTAIN an autorización de regreso as soon as possible. The police station on Avenida de los Poblados, s/n (Metro: Aluche) will be processing re-entry permits from 4:00pm - 6:00pm, Monday through Friday. For this appointment you will need to take proof that you are in the process of renewing or obtaining a residency card, the application form for the autorización de regreso and form 790 showing that you have paid the corresponding fee.
