The local Soup Kitchen needs you on Thanksgiving Day! / Come and help our neighborhood’s soup kitchen, run by Franciscan nuns, on November 25 to prepare for and celebrate Thanksgiving. We are looking for 4-5 volunteers (for about 1 hour) to help clean and arrange the soup kitchen’s garden, and 6-7 volunteers (for about 2 hours) to help cook and serve the food. If you would like to participate in this service to the community, please contact Ana Aizpún at aaizpun@slu.edu.
Discover the Caribbean! Come and discover the enticing culture of the Caribbean islands,
listen to steel bands and reggae, discover buried treasure, meet Johnny Depp, try a limbo dance, learn to play cricket, and, naturally, savor the exotic flavors of some typical Caribbean cooking... Thursday, November 25, 1:45 - 2:45 pm in the Student Lounge

In the Catholic tradition, the month of November is a particular time to remember deceased loved ones. As a symbol of our desire to keep the deceased before God, everyone is invited until the end of November to place the names of deceased loved ones in the box located in the chapel on the first floor of Padre Rubio Hall and/or to post photographs of deceased loved ones on the blue panel display in the chapel. >>
If you are in the process of renewing your Tarjeta de Estudiante and will be leaving the Schengen area for the Christmas Break, you MUST APPLY for an autorización de regreso THIS WEEK. Carefully read the Residency Card section of our website for information on how to make an appointment.
