Students interested in getting a seasonal flu shot may make a free-of-charge appointment at Interclinic with Dr. Borrás (using your Sanitas card); however, you will need to pay for the vaccine at Interclinic. The Ignatian Pilgrimage Retreat in Loyola, scheduled for the weekend of October 22-24, takes place in the beautiful Basque countryside of northern Spain at the birthplace of St. Ignatius of Loyola, founder of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits). The retreat, which focuses on the goals and ideals that shaped the life of Ignatius, will give retreatants an opportunity to reflect upon the direction of their own lives. Because the University subsidizes half of the retreat cost, the price for students is only 90€, which includes transportation, lodging and great meals! Interested in learning more about the Loyola Retreat? Talk with Marta, or Ana or Father Jim in the Student Life Offices.
Interested in moving to SLU’s St. Louis Campus or transferring to another university? Come to an information meeting this coming Thursday, September 30, at 2:00 pm in Padre Rubio Hall 13. Remember: the deadline to turn in all transfer documents is October 15. For more information, please contact Ana Deckert (deckerta@slu.edu).
