Saint Louis University – Madrid Campus tuition fees are competitive – some 33 to 50 percent lower than you'll find at comparable universities in North America.
As we work to ensure that the cost of obtaining a university education is affordable to students from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds, we offer a variety of financial aid opportunities to deserving students. In fact, for the 2008/2009 academic year, approximately one-half of Madrid Campus students received some sort of merit-based scholarship or need-based financial aid.
Madrid Merit-based Scholarships
Transfer students who apply to the Madrid Campus of Saint Louis University are automatically considered for the Javier Madrid Merit-based Scholarship in the amount of 2,000 € per semester. This award is based on a student's academic credentials as demonstrated by previous university coursework and the potential to enhance the academic and extracurricular environment of the University.

Madrid Work Grant Awards
Each semester the University makes available a limited number of work grant campus jobs. Students work in departments throughout the University for up to ten hours/week in exchange for a reduction in their tuition fees (roughly 10-15%). No cash payments are made. Instead, the amount is credited toward the amount due on the tuition fees for the semester.
University work grant opportunities include working as monitors in computer labs, assistants in the library, bookstore, finance department, admissions office, and student life. Job placement priority is given to permanent or full-year visiting students.

For students wishing to supplement their finances, citizens of non-European Union countries holding a student card are now allowed to work off campus for up to twenty hours a week. These jobs require some degree of fluency in Spanish.
Students will also find opportunities in Madrid for jobs tutoring English, other foreign languages, and the sciences.
Family Awards
Family Awards of 750 € per semester are available for families with more than one dependent child enrolled simultaneously at Saint Louis University (St. Louis and/or Madrid Campus).
