Application Procedure

  • Complete the online application for U.S. transfer students.
  • Pay the online application fee of $45. This fee is non-refundable, non-creditable and required for all applicants to the University.
  • Submit a current transcript from each college /university in which you have studied.

Once your application is complete, it will be reviewed by the Admissions Committee.

If the admissions committee rules favorably on your application, the University will send you an official notice of admission. Your admission is good for the semester or term you specify on your application.

To confirm acceptance of your admission offer, please forward the Confirmation of Acceptance form (sent to you with your admission notification) along with a non-refundable deposit of U.S. $200 to the Office of Admissions.

Saint Louis University may award transfer credits for courses taken at the university level in other accredited institutions. To have your credits evaluated for transfer, you must submit the following in addition to the regular application:

  • Official transcript(s) sent directly from the colleges/universities where the courses were taken
  • Detailed syllabi and course descriptions from the colleges/universities for each course
Note: Students should apply as early as possible as some sessions fill up long before the posted deadline. Saint Louis University, Madrid Campus reserves the right to close the application process early if capacity is reached before the deadline.
