I) Courses must be completed in each of the following sub-fields:
Students must plan to take two courses (6 hours) taught by visiting faculty from the St. Louis campus, usually offered in a single summer session. Alternatively, they could choose to spend one or more semesters at the St. Louis campus.

*Students with a GPA of 3.4 or better, with Department Chair approval, may take POLS 490-491 — an individual research project, as a two-semester, six credit Senior Thesis.
International Relations majors can earn up to six credit hours with internships (POLS-469) in intergovernmental- or non-governmental organizations.
