At the Madrid campus, we offer Elementary French I (FREN-110) and Elementary French II (FREN-115) in the fall-spring sequence. Intermediate French I (FREN-210) is offered occasionally, usually during Summer Session I.

Studying French at the Madrid campus will prove an exciting opportunity: Add another Romance language to your Spanish, converse with the many French speakers on campus, visit nearby France and apply what you've learned… Studying French at this campus, you will find that after a year of elementary French, you will have acquired intermediate fluency and a possess a good foundation to build on if you seek future perfection.

Other French-related events
Petit déjeuner parisien: At least once a semester, we meet at a café during regular class hour and speak French while we enjoy a “Parisian” breakfast experience!
La fête des crêpes: Visit a crêperie or enjoy home-made crêpes during the month of Febuary, the traditional season for crêpes in France (La Chandeleur).
