THEO-252 Christian Beliefs

Curriculum:
Fulfills theology requirement for A&S and Business
Description: Back to the basics. A systematic theological reflection on the main tenets of Christian faith as expressed in the Apostles’ Creed. Topics to be covered include: the nature of faith, the doctrine of God, Biblical authority, the Jesus of history and the Christ of faith, the question of suffering, humanity in relationship to God and the world, the Holy Spirit and spirituality, the Church and the Sacraments, ecumenical and inter-religious dialogue, and Christian hope for the future of the world. Course includes day-trip to Ávila, a Spanish town with rich religious heritage.
