Prerequisite: SPAN-415 or advanced fluency

Description: Memory and identity in novels and short stories by authors like Carmen Martín Gaite, Rosa Montero and Almudena Grandes as well as films by Pilar Miró, Icíar Bollaín and Isabel Coixet. Critical analysis of the works, paying attention to literary and feminist trends, themes and techniques with its relation to the socio-political context.
