SPAN-493 Spanish Society trough the Eye of the Camera

Prerequisite: SPAN-415 or advanced fluency
Curriculum: Fulfills Spanish Major or Minor; Fulfills Upper Division Literature Requirement for A&S and Business; IAS Certificate Elective
Description: Los jóvenes empujan.... The new generation of film directors, including several women, and their personal, dynamic and diverse ways of telling stories and making films, while reflecting on the issues and challenges of contemporary Spanish society. Film-makers include Oscar-winner Amenabar, Balletbó-Coll, Bollaín, de la Iglesia, Gutierrez, León de Aranoa and Zambrano.
