Analysis of plays by major twentieth-century authors, with emphasis on their reception and adaptation of international avant-garde techniques and tendencies. Authors studied include Jacinto Benavente, Federico García Lorca, Alfonso Sastre, Antonio Buero Vallejo, Fernando Arrabal, Lauro Olmo and Antonio Gala. (3 Credits)
