Description: Yo voy soñando caminos de la tarde... Analysis of authors spurred into literary activity by the impact of Spain's colonial losses in Cuba, Puerto Rico and the Philippines. Emphasis on historical contexts, aesthetic movements in Europe, artistic influences from Latin America, and the critical ethos expressed by this "generation." Study of works by Miguel de Unamuno, José Martínez Ruiz , Antonio Machado, Ramón del Valle-Inclán and Pío Baroja. (3 Credits)
