Description: Theatrical experimentation reaches Latin America. Study of trends and developments in the contemporary theater of this region. Analysis of plays by twentieth-century Latin American authors, and their reaction to the theatrical avant garde in Europe. A look at how the renaissance of the theater arts that took place in Europe is reflected, especially throughout the second half of the twentieth century, in the works of Latin American playwrights.
