SPAN-420 Introduction to Hispanic Literature

Prerequisite: SPAN-410 and SPAN-415 or equivalent
Curriculum: Fulfills Spanish Major or Minor (native speakers may not enroll); IAS Certificate Elective
Description: Cómo analizar la literatura... y disfrutar de ella. Study of basic literary concepts and methods of textual analysis. Introduction to different literary genres and their historical development. Readings from a selection of outstanding canonical works from both peninsular and Latin American literature.
