PSY-101 General Psychology

Prerequisite: SPAN-415 or advanced fluency for Spanish section
Curriculum: Business and Nursing requirement; fulfills social science requirement for A&S and Engineering
Description: The science of the mind. Introduction to modern psychology through lectures and practical work. Brief review of the history of psychology and of psychological research methods. Focus on biopsychology and neuroscience; sensation, perception; learning; psychology of action, cognition, motivation, emotion, social behavior, development and individual differences.
