POLS-367 Political Development in Contemporary Spain

Description: A century of political reshuffling. Study of historical factors in the political development of Spain and their consequences in contemporary politics. Focus on the Second Republic, the Spanish Civil War, Franco, the Church and religion, the establishment of the new middle classes, the reign of King Juan Carlos I, the Spanish Armed Forces, and the emergence of democratic Spain.
