PHYS-163 Engineering Physics II

Prerequisite: MATH-143, PHYS-161 and PHYS-162
Curriculum: Engineering Requirement
Description: Continuation of PHYS-161. Calculus and vector approach applied to study of electrostatic forces, fields and potentials; capacitance, direct current, resistance, circuits, magnetic fields, electromagnetic induction, magnetic properties of matter, wave motion, sound, nature of light. Focus on relativity and atomic physics.
