PHYS-131 Physics I

Prerequisite: MATH-120 or equivalent
Curriculum: Preprofessional Health Studies Requirement; Fulfills Science Requirement for A&S and Business
Description: The science of energy and matter. Analysis of kinematics: straight line motion, circular and projectile motion. Introduction to Newtonian dynamics: Newton's laws and their application. Study of the work energy theorem and conservation of mechanical energy; introductory thermodynamics and fluids.
