Description: From the cunning of reason to the will to power. A survey of nineteenth-century German thought through the works of Schopenhauer, Feuerbach, Marx and Nietzsche. Topics include philosophical anthropology, nihilism, historical materialism, irrationalism, alienation, metaphysical pessimism, the will and radical philosophical theology.
