NURS-360 Pathophysiology

Prerequisite: ANAT-100, PPY-254
Curriculum: Nursing Requirement
Description: The physiology of altered health states as a dynamic science that has application for both well and ill populations of all age groups. Focus on the physiological responses to altered health states. The health-illness continuum, including pathophysiological alteration and system or organ failure. Considerations given to selected pathological alterations and their effects on physiological and psychological functions in the context of a life span approach.
