Description: A continuation Dimensions of Nursing Practice I. The knowledge foundational to the care of clients across the life span, from diverse backgrounds and in a variety of settings. The roles of the nurse, as a member of the interdisciplinary health team. Factors that promote the delivery of quality care. An exploration of stress and crisis in relation to acute and chronic alterations in health and the need for nursing assistance to achieve positive adaptation. Research is introduced as a method of inquiry and as a foundation for the development of the scientific base for nursing practice. Includes an opportunity to develop a continuing relationship with a family in a community setting.
