NURS-210 Communication in Health Care

Prerequisite: ENGL-190
Curriculum: Nursing Requirement
Description: Focus on the development of skills in communication that the health care provider uses in working with clients across the lifespan. Consideration given to factors affecting the provider-client relationship with the primary focus on understanding human relationships. A seminar component provides the student with the opportunity to practice communication skills. Open to non-nursing majors with consent of instructor.
