Description: Clamps on the invisible hand. Analysis of the origins and growth of contract law in the common law system, and the role of property rights in a market economy. Rights and duties in contract law, and legal, social, ethical and political influences. Comparison and contrast of North American and European cases. Visits to Spain's national judiciary and legislative bodies.
