Description: Cellular organization and function at the molecular level; the structural building blocks of the cells (lipids, nucleic acids, amino acids, and carbohydrates) and their functional integration into macromolecules and organelle compartments. Also covered is DNA replication, RNA structure and function, and transcriptional and translational controls of protein biosynthesis.
