ESCI-210 Statics

Prerequisite: PHYS-163 (or concurrent registration) and a grade of C or better in MATH-142

Description: The science of balance. Study of force systems acting on particles and rigid bodies, 2-D and 3-D equilibrium, trusses, frames, machines, shear and moment diagrams, friction, center of gravity and centroids, and moments of inertia for an area.
