ENGL-332 Modern European Literature and Film
Prerequisite: ENGL-190; recommended, at least one 200-level English course

Description: Seen the film, got the T-shirt... but have you read the book? Literary interpretations of classic films and cinematic interpretations of classic literature using a variety of texts and films, with a special emphasis on modern European narratives. How the twentieth century has revolutionized the concepts of literature, and how both films and books feed off each other.
