ENGL-220 Introduction to Poetry

Prerequisite: ENGL-190
Curriculum: Fulfills literature requirement for A&S, Business, Engineering and Nursing; honors credit available for eligible students.
Description: The experience of language. Study of a variety of poetic forms in the British and U.S. traditions. Focus on the social and personal contexts in which these forms evolved and the relevance of poetry in the contemporary world.
