EENG-201 Electrical Engineering
Prerequisite: PHYS-163 and MATH-244
Curriculum: Aerospace, Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering requirement
Description: First contact with electrodynamics. Study of basic circuit laws, power and energy concepts, and DC circuit analysis -- node/mesh analysis, network reduction; AC circuit analysis -- inductors and capacitors, phasor notation, rms value and complex power concepts; transformers and principles of electromechanical energy conversion; diodes, transistors and amplifiers; digital logic circuits and data acquisition systems.
