ECON-314 Intermediate Microeconomics
Prerequisite: ECON-190 and MATH-132/142

Description: Why markets work (and why sometimes they don’t). The maximizing behavior of households (consumers) as constrained by income and prices. Study of firms’ behavior in price and output decisions and in factor markets; comparisons of the operation of markets under competitive and imperfectly competitive conditions; public goods, externalities and the distribution of income.
