DSCI-207 Introductory Business Statistics
Prerequisite: MATH-120 or equivalent and ITM-200 (formerly MIS-200)
Curriculum: Business Core requirement
Description: Use and interpretation of data to improve decision-making in a world of uncertainty. Focus on the use of descriptive statistics for displaying and summarizing data; the use of probabilities, random variables and probability distributions for making decisions; and the use of correlation, regression and time series analysis to develop prediction models applicable across disciplines.
