Prerequisite: CMM-200 and CMM-280, or instructor’s permission
Curriculum: Fulfills Communication advanced research requirement
Description: The tools and techniques to understand the “why” and “how” of human interaction: gathering and analyzing data based on observation and interviews. How to research in public settings; ideological critique; content-analysis; interpretative theory; procedures for collecting, analyzing, and writing up qualitative data; and techniques for managing relationships between subjects and researcher.
