CMM-120 Introduction to Public Speaking

Prerequisite: ENGL-150 or equivalent level of English
Curriculum: Communication core requirement; Business requirement; fulfills Engineering tools of communication requirement
Description: "Like-how not to make your point unclear, kind of." Poise, polish and intensive practice in perhaps the most important professional skill there is. Extensive practice of the craft with guidance and regular feedback. Emphasis on techniques for structuring speeches, styles of presentation, and the use (and misuse) of argumentation and evidence.
