The Computer Science Minor

The Faculty of Science and Engineering now offers students the opportunity to pursue a course of study leading to a minor in computer science. This minor is designed for students wishing to learn about the discipline of computing while pursuing a major in another field. Students in this minor take the same courses as do CS majors, but fulfill their requirements upon completion of 20 hours of coursework.
The minor in Computer Science can be completed at the Madrid Campus.

Requirements:
1. CSCI-140: Introduction to Computer Science (3 credits)
2. CSCI-150: Introduction to Object Oriented Programming (4 credits)
3. CSCI-180: Data Structures (4 credits)
4. MATH-135: Discrete Mathematics (3 credits)
5. CSCI-224: Computer architecture (3 credits)
6. CSCI-290: Object-Oriented Software Design (3 credits)
