"I chose Saint Louis University's Madrid Campus for the obvious reason where better to study Spanish literature than in Spain? I also liked the idea of being able to complete the entire program abroad and still obtain a U.S. Master's degree. During my studies, I was very impressed by the faculty, the range of classes, and the overall structure of the program. In addition, I worked as an intern in the Office of Admissions during the academic year and gained practical work experience while at the same time reducing the overall cost of the program. I am now preparing to enter a doctoral program in Sephardic Studies and feel quite confident and focused as a result of the education I received at SLU-Madrid, both in and out of the classroom."

"I enjoyed just about every moment of my summers in Madrid. I learned to read more critically. I gained priceless knowledge about art, architecture, Spanish culture, literature, and contemporary dialogue which helped me to be a better Spanish teacher. In addition, I made wonderful friends from all over the world. Without a doubt, this was the best educational experience of my life!"
